Tour our Cabin: Star Song 2
Our NEW Star Song 2 is a slightly larger cottage than Star Song 1, all on one level. Star Song 2 was also built by local craftsmen with artisan features. Red oak hardwood floors are throughout the two bedroom, two bath gingerbread house which includes central heat/air conditioning, linens, towels, WiFi, and DirectTV. It is non-smoking and pet-friendly for dogs (with prior approval). Also see Star Song 1.
The cabin is nestled in the forest hardwoods and wildlife. The cottage open floor plan includes a living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. At any location, WiFi is present along with iPhone reception.
The Living Room has a 32” flat screen TV with DVD and CD players, chairs, sofa, fireplace and remote ceiling fan/lights. Vaulted ceilings and large windows complement the Appalachian scenery near the New River Gorge.	The spacious kitchen a has an island with two stools, refrigerator with bottled water, microwave with popcorn, stove/oven, coffee maker with Starbucks coffee, utensils, china, glassware, granite sink. The adjacent dining area has Amish made table and six chairs.

A sunroom provides an additional respite and sleeping space (full futon) with three walls of windows.	Handmade porcelain crystallized vessel sink in one of the bathrooms.
The bedroom with two twin beds has a large closet and is next to a full bath with tub/shower combination	The “master” bedroom includes a queen sized bed, large closet, and flat screen television with DVD player. It is directly accessible to the tiled walk-in shower bathroom.
Star Song II includes a separate laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. A covered front porch is ideal for enjoying the outdoors in rockers. Both entrances are covered and the driveway is paved with parking.

Why the name"Star Song"? “Star Song” is a discontinued pattern of crystal made by Fostoria, a regional glass company that continues to produce beautiful glassware. Jim and I first met at the lighted star on top of the mountain in Roanoke, Virginia. We then selected “Star Song” as our memorable crystal at Replacements in Greensboro, North Carolina. Both of us are fond of many styles of music, our food for the soul.
